THE GIG
Phoria - London, Cargo

DIY’s hosting a show right outside its bunker of an office, and the headliners at Cargo couldn’t come in much finer form. Brighton’s Phoria have some special additions lined up for their set, including exclusively crafted visuals. This is one you can’t afford to miss.

THE SONG
Happy Diving - Asleep
Asleep by Happy Diving

Loud and proud and bellowed to the point of no return, Happy Diving is the body hitting the water, the wind blowing through the hair. They’re escape in the rudest form of its life. ‘Asleep’ is riffs ahoy, unashamed in its bombastic flow. Squeezed into two minutes of pure force, San Francisco’s fiercest new faces have struck gold.

Wearing a hat made of flowers and confirming the statement ‘I’m stranger than anyone you could ever hold’, this is a dark, surrealist take that’s gonna take some beating.
