Your mandatory dose of new music recommendations, chosen by Neu.
Here exists your daily dose of gig news and new artists to check out. Be sure to have a flick through our other bulletins from this week. You’re too late for the show details, but you’re never too late to check out the new artists we’re recommending.
WHO’S PLAYING WHERE? Old Blue Last is once again the venue in London for buzz bands to make a name for themselves. Tonight Childhood join G R E A T W A V E S as non-London based Neu favourites receive the plaudits.
Family Of the Year play the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. Details here.
And Early Ghost support First Aid Kit at the Boileroom in Guildford.
WHO’S MAKING WAVES? Braves make sun-kissed beach-pop of a slacker standard (call that a compliment, by the way), encompassing all the vibes home city Perth in Western Australia encompasses. Heavy regulation, really annoyingly big houses and a hell of a lot of affluence, but man, does Perth have vibes. Plaudits have come from the Flashlight Tag blog, amongst others. So take notice.
