Las Sultanas are here to prove that fuzzed-out, Dum Dum Girls-style influences can spread far and wide. Instead of being restricted to slacker-types Stateside who’ve soundproofed their garage, this five-piece are hellbent on spreading the scuzz through Spanish territory. Hailing from Alicante, the lead ‘demo’ track on their ‘Haren’ collection is a confident, brattish charge, ready to pounce.

Stockholm-based garage rockers Sudakistan released their brilliant debut single ’El Movimiento’ last fall via London/Stockholm label PNKSLM, and followed it with the equally impressive ’Dale Gas’ seven-inch earlier this year. New single ‘Concrete Djungle’, released yesterday via PNKSLM, is another showcase of the quintet’s unique latino-inspired sound, and further proof that they’re one of the most exciting garage acts around.
