What else is there to do for a bunch of bored kids from a small rural town? It’s little wonder that Weirds are such a developed band before they’ve even left their teens; hours, days, weeks and years of practise are available in a nowhere town like Nantwich.

After playing support to and impressing Pulled Apart By Horses in their most local venue in Crewe, Weirds were put in touch with MJ from Hookworms to assist with capturing their intense live sound. MJ has delivered in doing just that with the debut track ‘Crocodile’, but you sense there is much more to come from Weirds.

With a growing reputation for explosive moments during their live show, Weirds are more than a one trick pony, despite forming in – albeit, a very beautiful - one horse town. Expect variety in their songs too, as they can turn their hand to just about any sound, often with great results.
