Festivals What to look out for at Field Day 2015
We pick out the most exciting acts on this year’s line-up, from Sophie w/ QT to the return of Savages.
In its second year as a weekend bill, Field Day is beginning to find its identity as a two-day, all-encompassing extravaganza. Less than 24 hours until it all kicks off, the agenda’s firmly set.
Saturday’s leg offers a distinct bill of must-see DJs, hyped up newcomers and huge acts from the other side of the Atlantic. Sunday plugs in, bringing together sets from US staples and some of the best new bands in the country. Chances are, both legs of this weekender will feel like contrasting experiences, one bringing out a feverish, electronically-backed excitement, the other amping up and sending senses into a frenzy.
There’s a lot to see - not least on the DIY x Shacklewell Arms stage, which runs across the weekend. While it wouldn’t be a bad move to just stay glued to the action over there, below we’ve put together the must-see acts on this year’s line-up, from dead cert excitement to intriguing prospects.
