A Place To Bury Strangers preview new album with ‘Straight’ video
‘Transfixiation’ is out next February on Dead Oceans.
A Place To Bury Strangers release their new album, ‘Transfixiation’, on 16th February via Dead Oceans.
The record’s being led by ‘Straight’, a forthright blast of energy that’s been met head-on-head with a similar dizzying video. Directed by Brook Linder, the video brings VHS effects to the fore, eerily overlaying faces with distorted effects, like remnants of the digital age rising up and taking control.
They’ve also announced a European tour, dates kicking off next March.

‘Transfixiation’ demands a trance-like attention across its duration, but very little sticks once the ride is over.
