Adele, Wolf Alice, Foals and Years & Years nominated for BRIT Awards 2016

Adele, James Bay and Years & Years lead the nominations for this year’s BRIT Awards, while DIY favourites Wolf Alice and Foals also get nods.Unsurprisingly, Adele is nominated for four awards, while both Bay and Years & Years have scored themselves four nods a-piece too.Elsewhere, the likes of Coldplay, Florence & The Machine, Blur, Courtney Barnett and Jamie xx are all also up for gongs at the annual awards ceremony.As we already know, Jack Garratt was previously declared winner of the Critics’ Choice Award, beating Frances and Izzy Bizu to the prize.The BRIT Awards 2016 takes place on Wednesday 24th February at The O2, broadcast live on ITV. Adele, Coldplay, The Weeknd Swift and Justin Bieber are the confirmed performers for the night.This year’s official statues will be individually designed by Pam Hogg.
