Alex G unveils details of tenth album ‘Headlights’
The cult favourite has also dropped its lead single, ‘Afterlife’.

Alex G has returned with the news that his next LP, ‘Headlights’, will arrive on 18th July via his new label home of RCA Records.
The follow-up proper to 2022’s ‘God Save The Animals’ (since which he also scored the soundtrack to 2024 horror film I Saw The TV Glow), ‘Headlights’ is set to be the singer-songwriter’s tenth studio album, and has been introduced by the mandolin-led nostaliga of new single ‘Afterlife’ - check out the track’s Charlotte Rutherford-directed video here:
What’s more, the cult hero has also announced that he’ll be hitting the road later this year with Nilüfer Yanya to celebrate the record’s arrival. Tickets are on sale now, and you can check out the full tour schedule below.
