Amyl & The Sniffers sign to Rough Trade Records
The Melbourne-band’s debut album is due out in 2019.
We’ve been big fans of Aussie rockers Amyl & The Sniffers for a while now, with them featuring in our round-up of upcoming Australian bands and being a highlight of our recent visit to Lowlands festival.
But now it’s been announced that the band have signed to Rough Trade records and are planning to release their debut album next year.
The band have been making a name for themselves recently with their chaotic live shows and have released two EPs so far - ‘Giddy Up’ and ‘Big Attractions’. In 2018, they’ve also acted as a support act for the Foo Fighters on their Australian tour and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard on their tour of the US.
The band are returning to the UK to play a headline set at Moth Club on 25th September.
With the buzz around the band so far, we can’t wait to see what music they put out next.
