Association of Independent Music announces AIM Awards 2015

5th celebration of indie’s finest takes place this September.

Plans have been announced to host this year’s AIM Independent Music Awards.

Taking place at The Brewery, Clerkenwell on 8th September, this is the AIM Awards’ fifth celebration of independent music’s finest labels, artists and industry favourites.

John Kennedy (XFM) and Alice Levine (BBC Radio 1) have been confirmed to host this year - tickets are on sale from today, Thursday 24th March.

Last year saw the likes of London Grammar, Arctic Monkeys and Hyperdub picking up the big prizes.

This year, DIY readers will get the chance to vote on the Golden Welly Award for Best Independent Festival - last year’s victor was Barn on the Farm. Stay tuned on DIY for details on how to vote.
