Badgirl$ release new single ‘Stella’

Manchester newbies Badgirl$ are back today with their latest scuzzy-pop number in the form of ‘Stella’. Following on from previous singles ‘Click’ and ‘JUICE’, the new track shows the trio’s trap-inspired indie stylings, creating a murky yet mesmerising song that’s equal parts fun and badass.

In the group’s own words: “We made ‘Stella’ around Christmas time and left it as such a bare demo while working on other songs, we actually forgot about it lol, the song is a bit of a homage to Jamie T… kinda Jamie T meets pop punk, but still Badgirl$. Always x”

It’s their latest buzzy step forwards following support slots for Bakar and Rosalia, and the release of their beautifully odd mixtape ‘Bethnal’ earlier this year.
