Beach Baby share video for debut single ‘Ladybird’

London-based quartet Beach Baby have shared a new video for their debut single ‘Ladybird’. The group’s debut single aired back in February, and is pencilled in for release on 30th March via Chess Club Records.

Directed by Lily Rose Thomas, it begins with footage of a tiny insect crawling silently into a house, while its residents idle a day away to the group’s humdrum track. The song’s forlorn lyrics find a match in the video, which is filled with intense longing for anything except mundane, dreary afternoons.

Beach Baby will head out on tour across the UK in April, preceded by a date in Paris the day before ‘Ladybird’ is released. The date at London’s Courtyard Theatre (15th April) has recently been moved to the following day at The Sebright Arms (16th).
