Beck and Beyonce up for Album of the Year Grammy Award
Mr Hansen gets a surprise nod amongst pop heavyweights.
Beck’s latest album ‘Morning Phase’ has been nominated for a Grammy Award. The full list of nominees for the 2015 awards were revealed prior to the weekend.
Alongside Beyonce, Beck will battle with Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Pharrell for the prestigious award, now in it’s 57th year. Beck has previously been nominated for the award with albums ‘Odelay’ and ‘Midnite Vultures’ which both missed out on each occasion.
Elsewhere in the nominations and representing the UK, Sam Smith has been nominated for six awards, with Bastille, Charli XCX and Alt-J also in contention.
