Beyoncé covers Prince with ‘Darling Nikki’ Nicki Minaj ode
Bey calls Nicki the “rap queen” in a short clip.

Beyoncé has shared a short video where she covers Prince’s ‘Darling Nikki’, re-jigging the words so they’re in tribute to Nicki Minaj.
Spanning twenty seconds, the video finds Bey singing: “I met a girl named Nicki / I guess you can say she was the rap queen.” It comes backed with footage of the stars rehearsing for a recent Tidal benefit show, which also featured collaborations between Usher and Nas, and Jay Z with Fabolous.
