Blur’s Graham Coxon and producer Stephen Street recently sat down together for a Noisey feature, chatting about new album ‘The Magic Whip’. It’s Blur’s first album in over a decade.
The clip sees the two discuss the beginnings of ‘The Magic Whip’; from initial recordings in Hong Kong, to the final sessions and production at Street’s London studio. Coxon and Street also discuss the period between debut single ‘She’s So High’ and ‘There’s No Other Way’ - the latter being the group’s first track produced by Street.
Blur will release their new album ‘The Magic Whip’ on 27th April via Parlophone Records. Watch the ten minute chat between Graham Coxon and Stephen Street via Noisey below.
