BRITs Announce Shortlist For Critics’ Choice Award
Blur are being awarded with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award, and we’ve got some more news.
Following the announcement that Blur are being awarded with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award, we’ve got some more BRITs news for you all.
It has now been revealed that the three artists shortlisted for next year’s BRITs Critics’ Choice Award (in association with War Child) are:
Emeli Sande, Maverick Sabre and Michael Kiwanuka.
Previous winners of the prestigious award - which is for new British acts that are tipped to take over for mainstream success - include the likes Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine and Adele.
So, as you can tell, to have your name pulled out of that hat ain’t too shabby.
The winner will be announced, alongside second and third place, next week on Thursday 15th December.
The BRIT Awards 2012 are set to take place on Tuesday 21st February 2012 at The O2 Arena, London.
