Busted are back, announce plans for huge UK arena tour
The reunion that no one ever really thought would happen has, well, happened.
A little over a decade ago, the hearts of many-a-Busted fan were broken when Charlie Simpson parted ways with the band and decided to embark upon his rock project, Fightstar. Since then, there have been some attempts to fill the hole the band left; most recently through the six-piece supergroup McBusted (McFly and Busted, duh), but nothing could quite prepare fans for what would come next: an actual, real-life Busted reunion.
That’s right! Fresh from releasing Fightstar’s fourth album ‘Behind The Devil’s Back’ just last month, Simpson has rejoined his former bandmates James Bourne and Matt Willis and now, Busted are officially back.
The band have also confirmed plans for a massive UK arena tour next year. They’ll be playing thirteen shows across the UK and Ireland throughout May 2016, with tickets going on sale this Friday (13th November).
Check out the full dates, and watch a video of the three band members explaining their decisions to reunite, below.
