CHINAH cut through on ‘Can’t Remember How It Feels’

Razor-sharp pop prospects’ new single is streaming first on DIY.

Danish pop’s on the up. Hot on the heels of soon-to-be-megastars Liss, the country’s latest top tier export CHINAH have shared the razor-sharp ‘Can’t Remember How It Feels’.

Linking up with their debut EP ‘Once The Lights Are On’, it’s a searing take on feeling lost with age. A grown-up, beefed-up take on oil-slick pop, the trio (comprised of Fine, Simon & Simon, which probably gets a bit confusing) turn uncertainty into something supremely confident.

“Lyrically, the song is about being out of touch with your feelings” the band explain. “With age comes the realisation that most things have an ending, and the song is written in that ‘realist’ state of mind where you seem to have forgotten the childish fantasy of romantic love as invincible and ever- lasting. Relationships end, friendships change over time, and ideas of life you thought would stick to your mind suddenly seem pointless and vauge. This realisation hits you transiently, but when it happens it feels really intense.” Cheerful stuff.

Stream ‘Can’t Remember How It Feels’ below - it’s released via Denmark’s No.3 label, with CHINAH playing the following shows next month.
