Damien Rice announces live return with one-off London date
Rice’s new album is out this November, produced by Rick Rubin. This’ll be his first show in fifteen months.
Last week Damien Rice returned with news of his long-awaited album, ‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’. Now the celebrated folk musician’s announced plans to return to the stage.
London Palladium hosts a show on 7th November. It’s a one-off date in the capital, arriving a fifteen months after his last concert in Switzerland.
Tickets for the show go on sale from 9am, September 19th.
‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’ is out 3rd November. The album was co-produced with Rick Rubin, initially in Los Angeles and then in Iceland. “I came to Rick mostly based on what I didn’t know about him, rather than what I did,” says Rice. “For some reason I just had a feeling that I would feel comfortable being open and being me and being vulnerable with Rick.”
