Diplo uses artwork without permission, responds with sexist tweets

US producer Diplo has been accused of using a Brooklyn cartoonist’s work without permission.

In response, the Major Lazer DJ replied with a series of misogynistic tweets, the most notable being when he joked that he should “eat her out and massage her boobs” when asked to apologise to cartoonist Rebecca Mock.

Diplo used Mock’s work in a quick Instagram video. Twitter user JJ Steeves then asked “Why treat another industry’s hard working artists like shit? I mean, I support your art, why can’t you be decent to us?”

As Fact reports, Diplo’s response was more than inappropriate. He also mocked the recent Charlie Hebdo massacre by tweeting #jesuisrebecca.
