Bristol’s Dogeyed share the brilliant ‘Deep Dreaming’

The band’s debut EP ‘Throw The Bones’ is out 11th May via Specialist Subject.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Dogeyed.

New Bristol band Dogeyed are releasing their debut EP ‘Throw The Bones’ via Specialist Subject in May, and its first track ‘Deep Dreaming’ is our Neu Pick for today.

Featuring members of Woahnows and Caves, the band is helmed by Harriet Elder, whose spiky vocals worm around shiny, stop-start guitars, recalling the likes of Big Thief and Hop Along. It’s an enticing first step.

The EP comes out on 11th May, and the band are set to play a handful of shows around its release. They follow some March gigs, including a London show tonight (16th March) with Caves and Fresh.

View the tour dates and listen to ‘Deep Dreaming’ below.

MARCH

17 Aldershot, West End Centre (with Tellison, Caves, Peaness and Fresh)
18 Bristol, The Exchange (matinee - with Caves and Fresh)

11 Bristol, Rough Trade (with Madeline Kenney)
