DZ Deathrays announce new album ‘Bloody Lovely’

They’ve also shared new track ‘Total Meltdown’!

Back in August, DZ Deathrays returned with their new track ‘Shred For Summer’, a song that was inspired by a love of just wanting to play guitar.

A couple of months on and they’ve announced plans to release their new album – hooray! ‘Bloody Lovely’ will be out on 2nd February and it’ll be the duo’s first release on Alcopop! Records. It’s named after the Australian turn of phrase (apparently loved by the dad of vocalist Shane Parsons’ girlfriend: “it’s brutal and beautiful, and super Aussie”, he says) and has come together in bits and pieces as the pair toured last year.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have also shared new track ‘Total Meltdown’. A lot like ‘Shred For Summer’, it’s a mountain of fun, all rollicking guitar riffs and unbridled drums that sums up DZ Deathrays at their raucous best.
