Elton John To Appear On New Queens Of The Stone Age Album
Sir Elton will join the likes of Dave Grohl, Nick Oliveri, Trent Reznor, Jake Shears and Mark Lanegan, who are already contributing.

Along with that, we’ve had word that Josh Homme & co. have teamed up with Mark Lanegan. The latest addition though? Oh lord, is it an unexpected one.
It seems that - the one, the only - Elton John has been working with the band on their new record, and obviously, that chatty Grohl was the one to reveal it.
Appearing on last night’s episode of Chelsea Lately, which Grohl is currently guest hosting, Sir Elton explained the experience, which took place during tracking for Engelbert Humperdinck album (via Rolling Stone): “I went down and sang with him and then drove three blocks, in the Valley, I went from Engelbert to Queens of the Stone Age. Which was, you know, a bit of a mind-fuck. Nobody really asks me to do stuff, they think I’ll say no.”
So, there you have it! You can watch the episode of Chelsea Lately during which this conversation occurred below, if you’re in the US.
Queens of the Stone Age are expected to release their sixth album later this year.
