Emile Haynie’s debut track features Sampha, Dev Hynes and Charlotte Gainsbourg
Kanye, Lana Del Rey and FKA Twigs producer steps out.
Emile Haynie has previously been responsible for some of the decade’s most popular and well loved tracks. Today the producer has shared the details of a debut EP, confirming an album is on the way.
Debut track comes in the form of ’A Kiss Goodbye (Reprise)’ which features contributions Sampha, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Dev Hynes.
As far as debut’s go, Haynie’s is equally dramatic and operatic, something possibly influenced by his work with Kanye West on ‘Runaway’. There’s a beat that sounds like a vessel bobbing on water and strings that ache alongside Sampha’s fractured vocal, who contributes most of the shattering lyrics on the track. The track will be featured on a EP which is out next week - listen to ‘A Kiss Goodbye (Reprise)’ below.
