Ex-Queens Of The Stone Age member Nick Oliveri was arrested yesterday on suspicion of domestic violence.
The arrest came after a five hour standoff with a SWAT team at his Hollywood home, according to police.
Officials claim police were worried Oliveri had taken his girlfriend hostage, but at around 8:30pm the woman appeared from his home on Hobary Boulevard. The standoff ended at 10:30pm after the bassist’s door was knocked down.
Investigations are still underway.
Oliveri, currently playing as part of Kyuss Lives!, is set to head off on an extensive North American tour in September.
