FKA twigs, Evian Christ, The Haxan Cloak confirmed for Red Bull New Music Academy NYC

The programme for this year’s Red Bull Music Academy New York has been announced, running from 1st-30th May 2015.

Bringing together leftfield strands of pop, electronic and hip-hop, the schedule is topped by FKA twigs, who plans to play a unique concert with 10 dancers, all in costumes by Alexander McQueen. It’ll take place at Brooklyn Hangar, Sunset Park.

Tri Angle Recordings will celebrate its 5th anniversary, presenting a showcase with Evian Christ, Vessel and the Haxan Cloak.

George Clinton, A$AP Rocky and LaMonte Young have also been confirmed, while the Brooklyn Academy of Music hosts a tribute for composer Arthur Russell.
