FKA twigs reveals new video for ‘Video Girl’

The latest clip to be taken from ‘LP1’ was directed by Kahlil Joseph.

Ahead of this evening’s Mercury Prize ceremony, nominee (and current favourite to take home the prize) FKA twigs has unveiled a brand new video.

The clip for ‘Video Girl’, which comes from her debut album ‘LP1’ and has already featured in twigs’ recent #throughtheglass film, begins with a ninety second introduction that leads into the intense black and white offering.

As directed by Kahlil Joseph, the clip begins with twigs intently watching a prison inmate being strapped to a bed and administered with drugs, before appearing in the room alongside him. If you’re afraid of needles, this maybe isn’t one for you.

FKA twigs has also announced a second show at London’s Roundhouse, after previously confirming plans for her largest UK date yet. She’ll now be performing at the Camden venue on both 19th and 20th February, after completing a full tour Stateside later this year.

Her new UK date is on sale now.

FEBRUARY
19 The Roundhouse, London (Sold out)
20 The Roundhouse, London
