Viva Forever
Four previously unheard Spice Girls songs appear online
‘90s pop heroes are still on hiatus.
The Spice Girls, last seen riding a bus at London 2012, may still be on hiatus but that hasn’t stopped four unheard songs apparently appearing online.
‘Right Back At Ya (Pop Version)’ is an alternate mix of the track that made it onto ‘Forever’ while ‘If It’s Lovin On Your Mind’ ‘Pain Proof’ and ‘A Day In Your Life’ are all previously unaired.
The songs are allegedly demos from 2000’s ‘Forever’. The band’s third and final studio album saw five become four, with Geri Haliwell quitting two years earlier. The purveyors of girl power went on hiatus shortly after its release, before reuniting in 2007 for a greatest hits album, tour and charity single ‘Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)’.
Mel B recently brushed off her ‘Wannabe’ rap skills for a Mum versus kids, Red Nose Day campaign.
You can listen to ‘Pain Proof’ and the dreamy air-grab of ‘A Day In Your Life’ below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
