Frank Ocean launches boysdontcry.co site, album is imminent
Initially slated for July, the follow-up to ‘Channel Orange’ is near.
Thirteen-one days passed in a barren, Frank Ocean-less July - despite the promise that his new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ would land in that month - but it looks like the wait could be over.
Earlier today, the frankocean.com site began to redirect to a new URL, boysdontcry.co. One million refreshes later and it’s now presenting the same image that circulated when Frank announced the album back in Spring. It sees him crouching with two magazines, also called ‘Boys Don’t Cry’.
The caption reads: “I got two versions. I got twoooo versions.” And it still has the #July2015 hashtag. Someone needs to tell Frank it’s 3rd August, not 34th July.
