Frank Ocean Cancels Australian Tour Dates

Throat problems are blamed in a LiveNation statement.

Frank Ocean

has disappointed fans in Australia with news that scheduled stopover shows on his current world tour will no longer take place.

Vocal cord problems have been blamed, with Ocean reported to have suffered a ‘minor tear’ during a show in Melbourne. The two further dates in the city’s Festival Hall (26th & 29th July) as well as Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion (30th July) have been cancelled. His appearance at the country’s Splendour in the Grass festival will also no longer take place.

A statement from LiveNation on Facebook states that these shows will not be rescheduled:

‘Unfortunately due to Frank Ocean’s tight tour schedule it is not possible to schedule replacement dates, however we will be working to confirm a return to Australia as soon as is practical.’

Refunds will be provided to the original purchaser with photo id.
