Frank Ocean gives his first interview in years

After arriving at The White House in a pair of white chequered Vans, Frank Ocean gave his first interview in bloody ages to a press gathering in the foyer.

At just a minute long, it was hardly in-depth, but the journos on call did find the time to ask him about his choice of footwear - “It’s my first time doing it. Probably because it’s my first time here […] You can’t think. You just have to do things,” came the sort-of explanation. Asked whether he ever saw himself attending a dinner at The White House, he laughed it off: “No, I didn’t. I think that explains the Vans.”

He admitted he planned on “asking Obama if he had fun in these last eight years—just congratulating him also,” and had no intention (just yet) of backing Hillary Clinton with a performance. “We’re running out of time, I think,” he admitted, “Might have to catch her in four years.”
