Frank Ocean weighs in on Trump’s inauguration
“We all know your event was dry,” he said.
Frank Ocean has spoken out on Donald Trump’s inauguration last week, voicing his support for Barack Obama, and added, pointing to the new president - “we all know your event was dry.”
Ocean’s remarks arrive as Trump’s White House counsel, Kellyanne Conway, attracted widespread disbelief over the weekend. She claimed that Donald Trumps’ inauguration was attended by record numbers - despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary - and suggested that the White House’s false version of events was merely a case of ‘alternative facts’.
“I’m really excited for these inauguration crowd numbers to come in. Don’t cook the books either Donald,” Frank Ocean wrote on Tumblr.
“Barack we love you but it would’ve been equally presidential if you would’ve just walked on out while Donald got through that struggle speech trashing your career,” he added. “The majority knows man, we know you did good. We see it. The majority sees Donald for who he is too. He ain’t slick. And it’s too bad the majority doesn’t count.”
“In any event,” he concluded, “a first family that I can relate to will be missed. Really though.”
