Gerard Way makes solo debut with ‘Action Cat’
Finally! Hear the first track from the ex-My Chemical Romance frontman’s debut solo album.
Get ready to make some noise. Gerard Way’s solo album is finally coming over the horizon, with the first track from it getting a debut airing on BBC Radio 1.
Titled ‘Action Cat’, it’s exactly the bombastic brilliance you’d want from the former My Chemical Romance frontman. Produced by regular MCR collaborator Doug McKean, a full album will follow later this year. Check it out below:
As for his forthcoming full-length, Gerard is set to performs vocals, guitar and keyboards whilst Ian Fowles of The Aquabats and ex-My Chemical Romance live collaborators Matt Gorney and Jarrod Alexander have also contributed to its creation.
Gerard Way will make his live debut at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, taking place between August 22-24.
