Great News deliver the goods with ‘Secrets’

The Even Kjelby-led force prefer things to be on the sedated side, especially when it comes to the planetary pulse of new single ‘Secrets’. Released today on London-based label 0E0E, ‘Secrets’ is drenched in synths, like if a pack of music-hungry wolves invaded Giorgio Moroder’s basement and nabbed all the fancy gizmos for themselves. It’s relaxed, “far out maaaan”, but not like your annoying mate who just posts #420 pics of spliffs on Instagram. Behind the bleary-eyed melodrama is a sense of intent, giving nods to early MGMT with a quick pit-stop in Jupiter. Gloomy basement venues aren’t fit for this - Great News are ultimately tailor-made for space missions and stadiums. We’re premiering ‘Secrets’ below.
