Norwegians Great News share the hazy ‘Told’

Norwegian indie-pop trio Great News are releasing their debut LP ‘Wonderfault’ next month via Bergen-based indie label Eget Selskap. Today’s Neu Pick comes in the form of ‘Told’, the blissful third preview of the record.

A grand, sweeping track, ‘Told’ is another gorgeous preview of the album, out 16th February.

Talking about the track, the band’s Even Kjelby says: “Growing up today, we are repeatedly told to focus on the future, have kids, get married and earn lots of money to achieve true happiness, like that’s the only way of solving the puzzle of life. Fuck that. Do what you want, not what you’re told.”

The band are on tour this month, including shows at Eurosonic and a London date at the Shacklewell Arms. View the dates and listen to ‘Told’ below.
