Grinderman are to call it a day, for now, according to Nick Cave.
Performing at the Meredith Music Festival in Australia over the weekend, Cave is reported as announcing from the stage: ‘That’s it for Grinderman. It’s Over.’
‘See you all in another ten years when we’ll be even older and uglier,’ he added.
Grinderman, consisting of Cave, Warren Ellis, Martin Casey and Jim Sclavunos formed in 2006 and recorded two full length albums.
