Hatchie confirms details of new album ‘Liquorice’
To mark the news, she’s also shared the record’s dreamy lead single ‘Lose It Again’.

Aussie singer-songwriter Hatchie (aka Harriette Pilbeam) is back with the news that her third album ‘Liquorice’ - the follow up to 2022’s ‘Giving The World Away’ - will arrive on 7th November via Secretly Canadian, and has given us our first taste of what to expect via new track ‘Lose It Again’.
Having joined forces with producer Melina Duterte (aka Jay Som) to record the LP, with ‘Liquorice’ Hatchie aimed to capture all the different facets of coming of age as a young woman - in her words: “this album feels like the culmination of everything I’ve wanted to do with this project since I first started it.”
Continuing, she shares: “I focused on the finer details of the trajectory of love found and lost, inspired by my favourite tragic romance films. I’ve never felt more aligned with an album and can’t wait to share the experience with everyone.”
