Hot Chip Confirm UK and Europe Touring Plans

The band are set to tour UK and Europe, as well as stopping off for a signing session in Covent Garden.

This months’ cover stars Hot Chip have announced full touring dates ahead of the release of new album ‘In Our Heads’, due to drop on 11th June.

The band will be in the Covent Garden branch of record store Fopp the following day, 12th June, from 6pm to sign records and celebrate the release of the new album.

The full UK tour dates are as follows:

JUNE
10 Sheffield, UK – Leadmill - with The 2 Bears live
11 Cambridge, UK – Junction - with Peter Um plus The 2 Bears DJs
12 FOPP In Store Signing
13 London, UK – Heaven - with Factory Floor - (SOLD OUT)
15 London, UK – Lovebox Festival - headline

JULY
27 Dorset, UK – Camp Bestival

SEPTEMBER
02 Stradbally, Ireland – Electric Picnic
06 Isle of Wight, UK – Bestival

Hot Chip will also be visiting the following cities in Europe:

29 Cologne, Germany, Live Music Hall

NOVEMBER
01 Berlin, Germany, Columbiahalle

The band have also revealed further details about their forthcoming record. A special 7” release, which is exclusively available with the limited edition double LP version of the album, features a cover photo by Turner prize winning artist Jeremy Deller who currently has an exhibition on at the Hayward gallery in London. It will also contain a collaboration with Royal Trux legend Neil Michael Hagerty.

The one sided 7” will contain an exclusive is titled “Doctor”, by Hot Chip with Neil Michael Hagerty And Steel Harmony.
