Hot Chip share new track ‘Burning Up’

Hot Chip have given up trying to make sense, so they’re declaring plans to “fuck shit up” in a pink-screen lyric video for new song ‘Burning Up’.

This is a track running separate to new LP ‘Why Make Sense?’ - it matches up with ‘Huarache Lights’ and ‘Need You Now’ - all three songs are available now on iTunes if you pre-order the band’s sixth full-length.

The latest cut has Alexis Taylor’s voice swarmed in layer-upon-layer of robot-leaning effects. A simple lullaby of a Hot Chip track, it’s backed by gentle guitar lines and tales of longing.
