They're back
Incubus to return with new single ‘Absolution Calling’
The band are apparently set to release two new EPs this year.
Having last released an album back in 2011 (we’re not counting compilations here, guys), Californian rockers Incubus have now announced that they’ll be making a return with new music very soon.
Having appeared live at US radio station KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas show last December, the band first debuted a new track titled ‘Trust Fall’, and now they’ve confirmed plans to release a single very shortly.
According to KROQ themselves, the band, led by Brandon Boyd, will be unveiling their newest cut ‘Absolution Calling’ to the world on 5th February, when it gets aired on The Kevin and Bean show.
The new single comes alongside plans for two EPs, which are due to be released in 2015, before the band reveal a new album too. That’ll follow on from 2011’s ‘If Not Now, When?’ and was confirmed by the band in a recent interview with Billboard.
“We’re planning on releasing two installments that will total an album, two EPs,” the band’s Mike Einziger revealed in the interview. “We’re hoping to put out the first one in February or March, then the summer.”
Keep your eyes, and ears, peeled for more information shortly.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
