Soulful crooner Jamie Lidell has released ‘Believe In Me’, his first new track in just under two years.
The new song follows a 2013 self-titled album on Warp - he’s since left the label, with new release dates TBA.
In between LPs, Lidell contributed to the ‘Grant Theft Auto V’ soundtrack, but ‘Believe In Me’ sees him sticking firmly to rich, invention-laced, straight-up songwriting.
According to Lidell himself, the song is an “honest admission of self doubt”.
