Jenny Lewis Finishes Recording New Album

Although there’s nothing more than a series of increasingly blunt confirmations to run with, Jenny Lewis has definitely finished a new album, with the 38 year old, Rilo Kiley vocalist prepping a potential spring release.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, she confirmed that the album was in its mixing stages in LA, but she wasn’t giving much else away. ‘I’m mixing next week and this is all I’ll say,’ she declared, regarding the follow-up to 2008 LP ‘Acid Tongue’.

A recently unveiled song, ‘Completely Not Me’, first appeared on TV show Girls. Its inclusion on the new record ‘depends on how the rest of the songs turn out,’ says Lewis. ‘It exists in its own right.’
