Head spin: Jenny Lewis shares new track ‘Heads Gonna Roll’

She aired the new song during her appearance on ‘A Prairie Home Companion’.
Jenny Lewis was one of the special musical guests on ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ recently, playing live from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
During her set she played songs from her now-pretty-extensive back catalogue, including ‘Just One Of The Guys’. She also gave an airing to a new track, ‘Heads Gonna Roll’, a sensitive, lilting piano ballad which Jenny described as “a message in a bottle from Eagle Rock to the North Shore, from Lake Superior to the LA River”. Perhaps this is a sign that she’s finally gearing up to release her follow-up to 2014’s ‘The Voyager’?
You can listen to the whole edition of ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ here. ‘Heads Gonna Roll’ starts from around 1:20:00. Watch the video for ‘Just One Of The Guys’ below.
