Jenny Lewis unveils Beck-produced new single ‘Just One of the Guys’
Play the first two of Jenny Lewis’ ‘The Voyager’, her first album in six years.
Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis has unveiled the first cut of first solo album in six years, ‘The Voyager’.
‘Just One of the Guys’ is produced by Beck, of all people, and it wastes zero time in arriving with heady strummed chords and multi-layered vocals, all cut with the same Deep South trawl. It packs quite the chorus too.
The new album’s also seen Lewis collaborating with Ryan Adams and Jonathan Rice - it’s the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Acid Tongue’.
‘The Voyager’ is out 28th July via Warner Bros. Stream ‘Just One of the Guys’ via NPR or Spotify, below.
