Confirmed Jorja Smith announces second album ‘falling or flying’
It will feature the recent singles ‘Try Me’ and ‘Little Things’.
Jorja Smith has returned with huge news – her second album ‘falling or flying’ will be released on 29th September via FAMM.
Smith had recently shared the new singles ‘Try Me’ and ‘Little Things’, the first available tastes from the record. The artwork for ‘falling or flying’ features a portrait of Smith by British photographer Liz Johnson Artur.
Alongside the news, Smith has also disclosed details of a strong of UK live shows to take place in September; see the full list below.
Speaking about what inspired the album, Smith has said, “I don’t slow down enough. This album is like my brain. There’s always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment.”
“It touches on breakups, relationships with my friends, relationships with old friends, relationships with myself. It’s definitely about a lot of relationships, but every song I write I can sing it to myself.”
Jorja Smith’s debut album ‘Lost & Found’ was released in 2018, reaching #3 on the UK Albums Chart and receiving a Mercury nomination.
