Josh Homme claims to still be on good terms with former Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri.
The frontman’s former bandmate left the band in somewhat acrimonious circumstances back in 2004, and despite turning down a request from Oliveri to rejoin the band for a live show, Homme claims the two have been friendly since ‘a couple of months’ after the split.
‘I just forgot to tell all the rest of you people,’ Homme explained. ‘I misplaced my bottle of got-to-give-a-shit-what-everyone-else-thinks-about-stuff, you know?’
‘When it comes to who’s in my ‘friends box’, everyone’s so behind/’
Oliveri is currently in the UK as part of Kyuss Lives! - part of a reformed Kyuss without original member Homme.
