News Kamasi Washington’s ‘As Told To G/D Thyself’ to get London showing

Kamasi Washington’s short film ‘As Told To G/D Thyself’ is to get a London showing from later this week.

The film was shot in Baltimore, features music from Kamasi’s 2018 album ‘Heaven and Earth’, and was directed by the Ummah Chroma, a collective of filmmakers and artists: Bradford Young, Terence Nance, Jenn Nkiru, Marc Thomas, and Kamasi Washington.

The film will show from 12-7 daily from 28th February - 10th March at The Store X, 180 The Strand. Entry is free.

On 1st March Kamashi Washington will be in conversation with Serpentine Galleries’ Artistic Director, Hans Ulrich Obrist.
