After teasing their new album ‘Walls’ with a sneaky snippet of video, and giving it a concrete release date of 14th October, Kings of Leon have now shared the first real taster of, y’know, actual music.
‘Waste A Moment’ is the first new track taken from ‘Walls,’ and opens the album. Speaking to Q, the band’s Caleb Followill said that ‘Walls’ is a close-to-home album from Kings of Leon. “There are a lot of personal stories on this album,” he said. “A lot of stuff that people maybe won’t get, but if you study it a little more, and if you knew the stories behind it, there’s a lot [that’s] heartfelt.”
A typically storming anthem, with plenty of rousing woah-oo-oo moments, and gravelling vocals, you can listen to ‘Waste a Moment’ below.
