LCD Soundsystem announce new ‘American Dream’ remixes
Dixon and Lovefingers have re-worked tracks from the band’s 2017 LP.
LCD Soundsystem made their return last September with new album ‘American Dream’, and have now announced a new series of 12” vinyl singles of remixes of tracks from the record.
Berlin-based producer Dixon has taken on ‘I Used To’ for a 12”, which will be released on vinyl on 10th August. The b-side of the single will be ‘pulse (v.1)’, the 13-minute track James Murphy released in advance of the record, but didn’t make the final cut.
Lovefingers - aka LA’s Andrew Hogge - has contributed two remixes of the album’s opener ‘Oh Baby’ for the second 12”.
LCD Soundsystem continue the tour for ‘American Dream’ this summer, and headlined the first All Points East festival in London’s Victoria Park back in May.
