LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Yeah’ Gets Remastered, Gets Louder

LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Yeah’ was released as a single back in 2004, and did, of course, feature on the second disc of the act’s self-titled debut album.

Now, the 12’ single - which featured both ‘crass’ and ‘pretentious’ versions of the song - is being given a re-release following a remastering.

It’s not just any remastering, either - as LCD themselves were quite excited about when posting on Facebook, the work has been done by Bob Weston. As they explain on their shop, ‘You’ve never heard LCD Soundsystem’s epic ‘Yeah’ as loud or amazingly as this’.

A limited white label 12-inch with custom stamps is all sold out already (unsurprisingly), but there’s a regular version, ‘in a replica of the import-only picture sleeve’ still on sale.

The records are expected to ship ‘by the middle of March’.
